A brand new product, fresh from Europe, the VENDLET Patient Turning System is the latest innovation from VENDLET, and is now the best value patient turning system on the market.

If you’re unfamiliar with the VENDLET family, the turning system is used to mechanically reposition bedridden patients, with zero manual handling required from care staff. The system consists of two motorised roller bars, which when separated, wind the cotton sheet and slide sheet that the patient is lying on, initiating a gently turning motion.

Whenever the patient needs to be repositioned, the carer singly has to press a button and use their free hand to guide the patient into place: whether that be lateral, supine, prone etc.

The motorised system is lightweight and can be easily fitted to almost any make of community bed.

The VENDLET systems have been leading a revolution in repositioning for almost 30 years, and the all-new Basic model offers a range of exciting new features:

– It weights just 28kg, and so consumes very little of a bed’s safe working load
– The uncomplicated hand controls – with just four colour-coded buttons – make training new staff quick and easy
– Unlike it’s sister model, the VENDLET V5S, the Basic features manual height-adjustment, rather than mechanical. It is this simplified feature that makes it the best value turning system on the market

Despite being the most inexpensive model in the range, it also shares key characteristics with the Standard, including:

– can be fitted to floor-level beds
– autoclavable
– quick and simple installation (just 15-20 minutes)

Plus, because the VENDLET can be operated with just one pair of hands, it allows care organisations to stretch their human resource further than ever before.
